Though, AMFAs have been widely used worldwide, their major functionalities are mostly confined to (1). lubricating, (2). anti-knocking, (3). Octane and or Cetane improving, and (4). combustion improving. These additives were recognized as “conventional” fuel additives, which had been used for decades, and are still being used now a day! We, on the other hand, began to explore the alternative technology (Nano-Micelle Fuel Additives) in 2007.
